What are IP Ranges?

IP ranges are sets of IP addresses assigned to internet service providers and organizations. They allow administering and controlling internet access, as well as configuring network security. IP ranges are used to block or allow network traffic and configure data routing.

Why do you need IP Ranges?

IP ranges are necessary for configuring firewalls, routers and switches. They allow controlling which devices have network access and help protect your infrastructure from unwanted connections.

Examples of IP Ranges usage

The use of IP ranges is often found in corporate networks and internet service providers. For example, you can use IP ranges to block access to resources or allow traffic only from certain countries. They are also useful for configuring network devices such as firewalls and routers that provide security and network access control.
