Terms of Service

Welcome to Scanitex.com (hereinafter — "Service", "Platform", "We"). By using our website, API, or any related services, you (hereinafter — "User", "Client") unconditionally agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any of the terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.
1. General Provisions and Definitions
1.1. Scanitex is an analytical platform for researching publicly available internet infrastructure (OSINT), network perimeter monitoring, and External Attack Surface Management (EASM).
1.2. The Service provides tools for active network scanning (Port Scanning), technology detection (Tech Detection), and DNS record analysis.
1.3. The Service is intended exclusively for professional use: security researchers, system administrators, DevOps engineers, and Threat Intelligence analysts.
2. User Warranties and Responsibilities
2.1. By registering and using the Service, you warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You are not on any sanctions lists (SDN, EU Sanctions list, etc.).
- You use the Service for legal purposes (security research, auditing your own infrastructure, academic research).
2.2. Permission to Scan. You confirm that when initiating a scan of any IP address, range (CIDR), or domain through our Service, you either own the resource or have legal rights to collect publicly available information about it in accordance with the laws of your country and the country where the target resource is located.
3. Prohibited Use
Platform legality is important to us. It is strictly prohibited to use Scanitex for:
3.1. Conducting cyberattacks of any kind, including but not limited to: DDoS attacks, Brute-force attacks, SQL injections, vulnerability exploitation.
3.2. Scanning networks of government, military, or critical infrastructure facilities without written permission.
3.3. Creating botnets, distributing malware, or managing C2 servers.
3.4. Harassment, blackmail, or collecting personal data of third parties without their consent.
3.5. Overloading target networks. Scanitex has built-in Rate Limiting; attempting to bypass it is a violation.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO IMMEDIATELY BLOCK YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT REFUND IF WE SUSPECT A VIOLATION OF THIS SECTION.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
4.1. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
4.2. We do not guarantee that:
- Scan results will be 100% complete or accurate. Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and providers may block scanning.
- The Service will operate uninterrupted or error-free.
4.3. Scanitex acts solely as a tool. We are not responsible for how the User interprets or uses the data obtained.
4.4. We are not liable for any damage to third-party equipment or software resulting from scanning initiated by the User. All responsibility for traffic initiated through the platform lies with the User.
5. Payments and No Refund Policy
5.1. Service fees are paid via subscription model or one-time credit purchases.
5.2. No Refund Policy: Since the Service provides digital goods and real-time computing resources, all sales are final.
5.3. Refunds are NOT provided in the following cases:
- If the scan did not reveal open ports or vulnerabilities (e.g., if the target is protected by a Firewall or Cloudflare).
- If you changed your mind about using the Service.
- If your account was blocked for Terms violation (Abuse).
5.4. For cryptocurrency payments, the transaction is considered complete after network confirmation. We are not responsible for errors in wallet address or network selection.
6. Data Usage and Privacy
6.1. Scanitex may store logs of your scans (target IPs, time, parameters) for security purposes, service quality improvement, and abuse prevention.
6.2. We reserve the right to disclose User information to law enforcement if we receive an official request or discover that the Service is being used to commit a crime.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All rights to the software code, interface, databases, and Scanitex algorithms belong to the company.
7.2. The User receives a limited, non-exclusive license to use scan results (reports) for their own needs.
7.3. Reselling access to a Scanitex account to third parties is prohibited.
8. Indemnification
IMPORTANT
The User agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Scanitex, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, liability, lawsuits, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:
- a) User's violation of these Terms;
- b) User's violation of any laws or third-party rights;
- c) Use of scan results for illegal purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scanitex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or reputation. Scanitex's total liability is limited to the amount paid by the User for the last month of Service use.
10. Changes and Termination
10.1. We reserve the right to change prices, pricing plans, or Service functionality at any time without prior notice.
10.2. We reserve the right to terminate service to any User without explanation (with a refund for the unused period if the block is not related to a rule violation).
11. Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. All disputes are subject to resolution in the courts at the Service Owner's place of registration.
